This morning, the sleet began to rattle against the windows. Then it turned to snow. It snowed all day. I can't even . . . . My daffodils are bowed down under the weight of snow. Everything is white again, as far as the eye can see. Which is not that far, because the day was dark and gloomy. In the evening, it was weird, because it's unnatural for the day to last so long when everything is covered with snow.

I had a massively unproductive day. I started out huddled under a blanket, crying "Noooo . . ." and pretty much ended it the same way. I did a lot of sorting through some old photos for a project the Sparrowhawk is working on. This also entailed moving stuff around in the attic. Woe is me. I have a lot of work to do there. When we moved in here, I was quite pleased with my attic. It was tidy and held a few necessary items, like Christmas decorations, in storage. Now it's stuffed with random oddments and badly in need of sorting and weeding out. But today was not that day. At one point, we were sitting on the couch together, watching the snow fall. The Sparrowhawk was reading some of his books on photography, and we were listening to Symphony Hall on Sirius radio. He said "I could look at art and listen to music all day!" So maybe not such a pointless day after all . . . .

Happy Spring? I slept through a 3:45 am tornado warning, but it does not appear my street was tornadoed.
