ismoGood news--Mr. Science wasn't going to arrive till late tonight, and said he wanted to sleep, so there was no reason for us to travel today. Woohoo--one more night in our own bed. The power washers have come and gone, so there is no more green mold on our siding from the winter months, and our windows are clean. I was so happy about staying home that it seemed like a fine day. It looked rainy but never did rain. I finally got all of Mother's leftovers out of my living room. It's not much of an achievement, since that just means that I packed them all away in the attic, but at least I don't have to gaze mournfully at the walker whenever I'm sitting on my living room couch.
I had more emails and whatnot, which was super annoying. Especially the part where Mr. Science and the Duchess both said SOMEONE would have to organize a plan for us to get together, but they were too tired to do it themselves . . . oh gosh, I WONDER who that special someone could be . . . . Someone, I guess, who is tireless and always patient and never over-indulges in the pointless pastime of carping about her cherished siblings! We went to the garden store and used my coupon to get a small discount on tomato plants, a couple of squash plants, and some basil and cilantro. I didn't have time to plant them before traveling, but I put them out in the garden bed and will water them well before we leave tomorrow. It's supposed to rain this weekend, so I think they will be okay until I can transplant them on Monday or Tuesday.
The Diva and Tron both reported getting their boxes, which made me feel good about getting that done. The Sparrowhawk said being able to spend time with me made it a good day for him, so I'm happy.
