Well, that was unexpected. I wanted to visit the Sparrowhawk this weekend, but there’s a big snow coming, so I can’t. So I thought of going today. But when I woke up, it was snowing and I didn’t feel very frisky. All day it continued to snow, but just a little. I kept thinking I should just jump in the car and do it. But I felt a very strong urging to not go. No, not today. Stay home. So when Dragonfly called me about 7, I was still home. Her wife, the Minister, had a bad accident in Indiana, and she needed to go there and get her, because their car was totaled. She didn’t want to drive alone—it’s a 3 hour trip. So I was available, because I never went to Farmington. As a result, I find myself in a rather palatial motel room in lovely Peru, Indiana, with 2 beds and 8 pillows. When we arrived, the Minister had just been discharged, and they’re in the next room. She is fine, but very shook up, of course. A guy pulled out in front of her on a limited access highway, and she couldn’t avoid him. I wouldn’t have wanted Dragonfly to make this trip alone! Lucky I didn’t make one trip, so I could be here for this one.
