ismoFeeling much better today. I had a socially distanced chat and meditation with Dragonfly in the back yard this morning. It's the first time we've seen each other in person in months, although we've Zoomed a couple of times. She wore a mask even outdoors, but said she was comfortable with me not wearing one. The back yard was the perfect place to meditate in the morning: sweet air, filtered sunlight, leaf-shadows coming and going, birdsong in the hedge next to us. The trees graciously welcomed us in.
After she left, I made a quick run to the store, because there were several things on special that I wanted to pick up. Who should I see whisking down the aisle ahead of me but a purple t-shirt I recognized! "Dragonfly!" I called out. Thus we met again briefly, before dashing off on our separate errands. I got some more of those five-dollar chickens, and another batch of lake perch at a good price. The Sparrowhawk cooked them again for dinner. Dragonfly brought me four tomatoes from her container plants, which are running wild up on her porch roof. I made them into a tomato-basil salad with fresh mozzarella and balsamic vinegar, and they were delicious. My stomach is feeling okay as of now.
