Elderberry of Flourish
Aug. 31st, 2019 10:12 pmI slept most of the night and got 8 hours again, and once again the world was a little brighter and I descended the stairs going "Lookit me, walking down the stairs without a precautionary hand on the banister! Lookit my knees just bending like they were made to do that! Wheee . . . ." To do that, I had to get up rather late, so I didn't have time to do as much as I would have liked, but I did spend some time weeding, and subdued two yard waste bags full of renegade biomass. It was pleasantly mild out, and I worked without melting into a puddle of sweat. There's plenty more to be done. I boiled the chicken bones. I froze a pound of peaches, but I don't think I'll need to freeze any more. They're too delicious. We'll eat them all while they're still fresh.
I had a nice Skype with the Nonesuch and Moonmoth and caught up with their doings. I was sitting out on the porch with my laptop, enjoying the day. However, when I went back inside, the Sparrowhawk had worn himself out with all that he's been doing this week. He had to go lie down for awhile. Sometimes I get very downhearted when the Parkinson's shows up unpredictably. So instead of going back outside to do more work, I too had to stop for awhile. I cooked the remaining green beans and made a toasty cheese bread, and that was dinner.
