HazelElder of Bluster
Feb. 9th, 2020 09:23 pmA little laundry and tidying, a little reading and writing, a couple of birthday cards, a little email, some music and some chocolate. That was about it for today. The sky was dark and snow fell in tiny particles, blown sideways by the wind. It obliterated and smoothed over all the places I had diligently shoveled clean yesterday. Yesterday's snow was fluffy and sparkling when there came a glint of sun--the kind of thing that is delightful to view, as long as you're not viewing it from inside a car on the freeway as it falls incessantly. I'm very happy to let the snow fall where it pleases, because I'm not driving. I'm not sure what today's snow looks like, because I stayed inside. I'll have a look at it tomorrow when I take up my shovel once more. Today was a very hibernating sort of day.
