Fledgling of Trill
Mar. 13th, 2021 09:40 pmWe went for another walk. Even though it's colder again and there was frost on the roof this morning, spring must be here, because Irish and family got all the bikes out of their storage shed, and the girls were riding up and down the street. Daisy is just learning.
Sometimes going for a walk makes me feel refreshed and accomplished. Sometimes I just feel cranky. This was one of those times. I keep hoping that if I just keep on going, my joints will stop hurting so much and I'll feel much stronger and . . . a lot of other things will get better too. There are times when it's harder to believe, and at those times, it's nice to sit down and have a cup of tea and not think about it. My washi tape finally arrived! The box it was in could hardly have been more dented and battered, so it's a good thing washi tape isn't fragile. I tried labeling some of my notebooks with it, which was one of the things I wanted it for, and it worked pretty well. So that was nice.
We also got a nice surprise when the Philosopher called! We had called to sing him the Birthday Song on his birthday, but he was busy celebrating and didn't pick up, so we just sang it on his voicemail. It was really great to have a chance to talk to him.
