Rosemary of Trill
Apr. 6th, 2021 09:41 pmI paid a visit to Madame and discussed the anxiety. Sometimes I'm not sure if she's giving me a pep talk or I'm giving her a pep talk, but anyway, I felt better. Then the Sparrowhawk and I made a quick trip to the garden store in search of the seed starting pots I hadn't been able to get online. Wonder of wonders, they actually had something that would work--I think. Back home, I put away a bunch of laundry that I had washed previously, and did some bathroom cleaning before going out in the back yard for tea with the Sparrowhawk. It was an amazing day--75 degrees! That's about 20 degrees above the normal average for this time of year. It's all very well NOW . . . I hope the same thing won't happen in July! We came back inside because a rain shower was threatening. I quickly filled the seed starting trays with potting soil and put them out in the hope that the rain would moisten them. No such luck--it quit raining too soon. By the time we had eaten dinner, the sun was out again. We decided to take a quick drive to the botanical garden to see the tropical butterflies. It was not too crowded, and just before sunset is a nice time to visit. The angle of the sun makes the light and shade magical in the conservatory. We walked around outside for awhile and then went home. I watered my seed starters so they'll be well moisturized tomorrow.
