RedRooster of Bloom

It was 80 degrees in our bedroom last night, which is not a good sleeping temperature for me, even with the fan on. Perhaps because of that, I am very grumpy and once again do not want to do anything. This is a pretty long streak of don't wanna. I'm going to have to snap out of it soon, because there are things pending that have a time limit on them. I went out this morning to visit and meditate with Dragonfly AT HER HOUSE, which I haven't seen in ages! I said hi to her dog and her cats, and her wife the Minister. We had lunch at a restaurant where we used to go all the time. It was so weird to be there again. I ordered what I always used to order--half a grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of saffron tomato soup. I was looking forward to it, but sadly, it didn't agree with me. Nothing does at the moment.

Just as I arrived home, there was a sudden burst of rain. It came straight down and was kind of monsoon-like, and then the windows all steamed up. I'm four chapters into Network Effect. I love Murderbot, but I have to admit this is a little predictable, because Murderbot always does exactly what I would do in similar circumstances. Humans never listen to Murderbot. Murderbot, it me. Except for Murderbot's processing speed and firepower, which I envy, and Murderbot's disgust with human physicality, which I don't feel. Otherwise, Murderbot and I are totally on the same page.
