Osprey of Leave

Oof. So, yesterday I got my COVID and DPT boosters. My arms were a little sore, but I thought everything was okay. Overnight, my arms started aching, and by the time I got up this morning, I was not very happy. I'll just list all the side effects I've had so far, for reference. I'll be sending them off to VAERS too, just in case that would be useful to anyone. My arms, shoulders and neck were very painful, with almost cramp-like aches. My legs were really tired and achy too. I felt light-headed, tingly, and hot all over, and quickly developed a fever of just over 100. I tried eating some chicken soup, and my stomach was not happy at all.

We had our delayed Zoom with Deb and the Prussian. I read one chapter of A Princess of Mars. Other than that, nothing much happened except me drinking ice water and wailing mournfully from time to time. My second COVID shot was nothing, so I was hoping this one would be the same. But this is misery. The Sparrowhawk went out in the evening and got me some pad thai and some lo mein from the noodle shop, and I was able to eat a few noodles. I really just want to lie down, but I'm trying to stay up until at least nine so I won't be awake in the dark, waah. Hopefully I'll be over this tomorrow.
