NorthernGannet of Ember
Dec. 13th, 2021 09:59 pmIt was another beautiful day, but I still didn't get outside. I had a long phone call with Queenie. It's that time of year when conversations are necessary. Holidays require a lot of mutual steadying to stay upright. Her post-COVID is really wearing her out, too. I carried another box of books down for disposal and sorted out some more things. I still didn't get to the vacuuming, though. While the Sparrowhawk was at the gym, I made the Lussekatter, which was another thing I'd meant to do in the morning, but didn't get around to. It's kind of a long process, so all I was able to do in between risings was to perform some of my PT exercises. I have another appointment tomorrow morning. The only writing-related thing was that I tied up the loose threads to a reminiscence about old Christmas that I had been reading to Queenie on the phone, and sent her the copy that she requested. She said she wondered if other people experienced my words the way she did. I don't think anyone else really could, because she was THERE at the time. For us it's waking an actual memory, not just a gift of the imagination.
