OwlWatch of Sleet

I had hoped last night might be the night I slept really well, but once again, fate disappoints. Again determined to do some little thing regardless, I put away laundry, deconstructed a chicken and made broth from the bones. I had another idea about Dejah Thoris, but so far I'm just continuing to complicate the first third of the outline without proceeding to the next section. There was still sunlight in the late afternoon, and I thought I might get outside for a bit, but instead I chatted with Queenie. We both have things to do tomorrow, so we had our usual Monday conversation today. After that, I made cherry chicken salad for dinner, served over arugula and mixed greens. Johnny Weir says his look is inspired by the Peking 2022 panda mascot, Bing Dwen Dwen. That explains the hairdo, which I'm afraid I don't care for. It looks too much like Mickey Mouse ears. But the rest of the outfit is genius. The sparkle is hypnotic and soothing. Hypno-sparkle! If only I knew where to obtain such a thing. I'd bedazzle my entire wardrobe with it.
