AnotherJourney of Zenith

Part 1 of mission is accomplished: drive 7 hours, arrive at hotel unscathed. Yay. One sister has arrived; the other is still in flight because her plane was delayed by a truly insane lag. I hope she'll be okay tomorrow. Niece has informed me: wake with body from 2-6 tomorrow, burial in some kind of state forest for green burials, 11 on Monday. She warns that paths are muddy and require stout shoes. I'm REALLY unclear on the concept here. Hike through forest . . . carrying a BODY? Will there be some kind of brawny assistants? Because as much as I love the departed, and as much as I invested in getting here, that doesn't sound like something I want to do even if I could. I'm sure the plan will unfold tomorrow.
