ismoMy main accomplishment today was to plant a whole lot of seeds in starter pots, hoping to get some plants for the garden when warmer weather arrives. I planted Dragon's Egg Cucumbers, Fennel, Zaatar, Litchi Tomatoes (which are not really solanaceae) and three real tomatoes: Paul Robeson (purple), Kellogg's Breakfast (yellow), and Berkeley Tie-Die (pink). Also some kind of mini-melon called Tigger, which may or may not come up because the seeds are very old. I have ordered a heating mat to go underneath and encourage germination. I wanted to do more outside, but couldn't, because the pop-up rainy weather was still with us, and by the time I had poked all my seeds into their pots, it was raining again.
I haven't been feeling good at all for the last few days. I felt lethargic, and my legs were so stiff and sore, as if the joints had puffed up inside for some reason. I may be getting better, because I noticed I was very irritable today. I was giving stern lectures to people who were not there while taking a shower, and this is usually a sign that my energy is returning. Last night, I dreamed of being with magic users. A beloved neighborhood restaurant was threatened with takeover by some mafia-like people, and we were getting together a flash mob to stop that from happening. A magickal flash mob is something that you don't want to mess with. While conspiring with them at the restaurant, I learned of a concept called Dark Dibs, in which a magic duel ensues if two people lay claim to the last piece of cake.
