I only got four hours of sleep, so I'm not exactly sure WHAT I did with the rest of the day. Oh yeah, some laundry. And I put the new sheets on the bed. One of our old flannel sheets suddenly disintegrated into holes and frayings. I replaced it with another set that have moons and stars on a blue background. I really love it. Maybe I'll sleep better in this celestial pattern. Oh yeah, I also talked to Queenie. After the initial joy of her stomach repair surgery, she's having horrific acid reflux again. Her surgeon is investigating. It starts with another swallowing study tomorrow. It's very concerning. This afternoon, there was a sudden burst of thick, wind-blown snow, and then just a short time later, it stopped, and the pale, wintry sun peered out. We're still in the deep freeze, but I have to appreciate these winter moments while I have them. I keep longing for spring, but winter is perfect in its own way. Just glad I don't live in Texas any more! I saw clips of cars and trucks sliding hopelessly off the ice-slick bridges in the DFW area where we used to live. Winter is out there, but they can't handle winter!
