Lampreys of Zenith

Well, we're home again, in spite of all the tailgating yahoos on I-94. I'm sorry they have such a frustrating life, unable to go 95 mph at all times. A special shout-out to the rusted-out van full of young guys that suddenly applied the brakes and came to a near-complete stop in the left lane, for no apparent reason. Fortunately, no one was tailgating me at that time. The van remained an instrument of chaos for about 20 minutes or so, speeding up and slowing down, changing lanes, and sweeping other vehicles around it into its vortex of madness, much like a rogue star tearing through the galaxy and sweeping up the other systems in its wake. I never figured out what their deal was. They were like something out of a movie, but I don't know what the plot was going to be. Fortunately, we exited before we found out.

I present these random facts for your consideration rather than talking about the weekend because I'm just too tired. So glad not to be in motion now.
