I'm doing okay. I would say that on a covid scale of 10, this only rates about a 7. And thank God for that. I'd much rather suffer ennui and discomfort than constant pain! I was awake too long in the middle of the night because I couldn't stop coughing, and decided to go downstairs for Ricola and a drink of water. Then I was beguiled because the Conclave watch claimed we were just about to see some smoke. But we weren't. Luckily I was about to go back to sleep for awhile. It was another lovely morning. I went out in the back yard for awhile and gazed longingly at all the things I can't do. I also saw a baby toad. The toads have been living in my garden for generations now, which makes me happy.

I amused myself by watching the Conclave, followed by some more Grand Prix jumping. I accomplished one thing, which was to finally send off a note and a card to a dear friend who sent me an Easter card that I hadn't replied to yet. And last night we had a little Facetime with the Diva to sing her the birthday song and admire the new shoes that were part of our birthday present to her. I think that's pretty good for a repeat Covidian.
