Starling of Bluster
Mar. 13th, 2026 06:58 pmRemember that tree I wanted the tree service to come and check out? Yeah . . . it is now cracked in half and flipped over into the neighbor's back yard, after a day of high winds. I'm so very happy that it apparently hasn't damaged anyone's house. It's propped up by another damaged tree at one end, and snagged on the power lines at the other. So we would really like Consumers Power to come and look at it, and let the tree service know if it's safe to remove. But, since the line is still intact and the power isn't out, they are taking their sweet time. Frustrating. But could be worse. I really hate figuring out that something in wrong just in time to watch it happen anyway. I'm afraid that's the news that is occupying most of my mental space at the moment.
i know those feelings
