Doing better today. The rain arrived in the night. Then there was a lull until noon-ish. So I went out for a walk while it was merely damp. The air was still mild. It was surprisingly pleasant to be out, watching the changing hues and swirls of the restless clouds in the grey sky. The damp air kept the autumnal scents close to the ground. I made three enormous loaves of bread, did laundry, and took the Sparrowhawk on a tour of my action figures, which I had sorted out pretty well. He found some guy on Craigslist who was interested in buying them. Or so he said. We named a ballpark price, but haven't heard back from him yet. I ate three-quarters of a cheeseburger in small increments over the course of the day. It tasted really good. It was a risky move, but so far, I feel okay. The cold front has arrived. Rain is still rattling against the windows. It's 45 now and will be 38 by morning.
