I got my long-postponed haircut today. My stylist has moved to a new salon, not quite as convenient for me, but not bad. I got her to tell me about her family, which is still nuts. The ongoing saga of her sister's divorce is a soap opera in itself. Of course, she could be making the whole thing up. If I were a hair stylist, I would be greatly tempted to play Scheherazade to all the old ladies and regale them with the most outrageous tales I could imagine.

The rest of the day was mainly devoted to moving things in the basement. It's a big job. I carried a lot of heavy things upstairs. It remains to be seen how sore I'll be tomorrow.
