Something is definitely wrong with me. My temperature is only slightly elevated, but I feel much more hot and irritable than the thermometer would excuse. My whole upper arm hurts from the shot. I don't usually have that much of a reaction. The Sparrowhawk went to the gym last night, and did all right, but today he isn't feeling right either. I encouraged him to take a nap, and he actually took several. One of them became fairly long after I put a blanket over him, and then when he asked if I could tug it down over his toes, got a second blanket to lavishly cover his feet. I was pleased with this result. Neither of us is coughing, so that's good. It's like an invisible beast blundering about the house--you don't know what it is, you just want it to go away soon. I went out for a walk, but other than that, I spent most of the time reading and chatting fitfully. We ate the last paczki and what was left of the ice cream, and had sausages and sauerkraut for dinner, because Mardi Gras.

the first shot made me irritable for at least 4 days. istr, tho, that the 2nd one was pretty meh.

i hope your invisible beast gets an all-expenses-paid, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be somewhere else.

I reacted to both of the shingles shots - the large swelling on my arm lasted several days.
