We drove down to visit my mother and give the Duchess a break. We’re staying overnight with Deb and the Prussian, then stopping by to visit Mother again before we go home. It was good to see her. But really sad when she fell asleep and we drove away. 😢 They estimate she’ll be in rehab for 3-4 weeks. Their goal is for her to be able to walk with a walker again, and she can’t really start on that until her arm is weight-bearing. More later—it’s hard to type out my usual lengthy ruminations on a phone. The brevity is probably good for me! 😜
