Stonefly of Flourish

It was a gloomy morning that slowly cleared until once again, we had the fantastic blue sky with big white clouds. This always makes me want to be up north, but on reflection, this probably isn't a good time to visit any vacation spots. The Sparrowhawk proposed going somewhere for a walk, so we went to Meijer Gardens and visited the Japanese garden. It's getting more beautiful since it was planted a few years ago. The trees are growing up and acquiring shapes through clever pruning and support. We didn't go all the way around. Maybe another day. We sat in the cafe where I worked for awhile. The cafe has improved its wifi since the last time we were there, but the refreshments somehow fail to satisfy. I tried some cold-brewed latte in a can. It was okay, but only just. We're both kind of tired, I guess. When we got home, his troublesome leg was bothering him. My stomach is still not happy. We had some snacky things and leftovers in place of dinner. SyFy has been running a Harry Potter marathon, so we watched poor Harry get more and more pale and disheveled while we sat and read for awhile. Now we're on to Fantastic Beasts.
