I'm tired of posting about my physical state, which is not of the greatest. How about a lovely cat video . . . I showed this to the Sparrowhawk this morning before he went off to church--without me, because I couldn't. I read the headline to him first: "Battle-Scarred Feral Cat Spends His Final Days Snuggling Tiny Kittens He Loves." With a fond look, he replied "Just like you!" Aww. Strange as it might sound to some, that was the most heart-warming thing I've heard in awhile. Not that I'm planning to die, though! Nor do I have any of the ailments Grandpa Mason the cat had.

It's the last day of summer, and has settled in to rain all night. I let go of one more season.
