ReindeerMoss of Sleet
Feb. 8th, 2021 10:07 pmA small amount of additional snow fell last night, just enough to dust all formerly cleared surfaces with white again. When I looked out the back window, I saw a perfect, sedate set of rabbit tracks going right down the middle of the path I had cleared across the patio and past the back door. Then they lolloped off through the deep snow across the yard to the pine trees, where the rabbits have their burrows. I was pleased to have made life easier for bunnies.
The Sparrowhawk went to the dentist. I thought about doing some cleaning, but decided to call Queenie instead. The Fireman has cancer surgery on Wednesday, and Queenie is anxious. As who would not be. It's rough. The Fireman was being distracted by some reporting he had to do for work. Normally it would require them to go and visit the weather station in person, which they enjoy, but under COVID rules, it all has to happen online. So I provided the distraction for Queenie.
