We both had a more sane amount of sleep last night, and thus a better day today. In fact, it was quite eventful. We left the house twice! I drove the Sparrowhawk to the farm store, and parked while he went in and got milk, cream, butter, eggs, lettuce, and broccoli. I felt a little wobbly when I got home, but I brought the trash can in, pulled up all the garlic mustard I could see, and filled the rest of the yard waste bag with a pile of previously pulled weeds and sticks that had been sitting around. Then I had to sit down and have some tea. The Sparrowhawk didn't go to the gym tonight, either, and he had to cancel his PT appointment for tomorrow, so he wanted to go out for a walk to make up for some of that. We walked a few blocks, quite slowly. It has been a rude shock that his ability has dropped off so suddenly. It is still possible he could improve, and at any rarte, he's going to keep trying. Everything is so beautiful in the spring that it's a luxury to go even a few blocks through the neighborhood. Every step is filled with wonderful things. I made another big salad, cooked the broccoli, and warmed up the kielbasa mixture I had roasted earlier in the week, when I still had a few of my marbles. And that's enough--there will be no further efforts today if I have anything to say about it.
