Evergreen of Celeste

The sky was blue, blue, blue this morning. So I was pretty cross that I woke up late and then had to do another irritating online grocery shop. But eventually we got our boots on, and I took the Sparrowhawk out for a walk through the ice and snow. The Sparrowhawk commented that it was difficult to know where to send your thoughts, in search of a place that would be merry and bright. My sentiments exactly. However, later in the day, he recovered his normal cheer and said he'd gotten his gratitude back. My story is up to 50 percent now, but has come to a sticky part where there's a lot of explicatory conversation. The Sparrowhawk went off to pick up our groceries, and I discovered one last packet of ground beef, cooked it and had dinner ready when he got home. The second season of "The Discovery of Witches" has started! Yay!
