ismoI'm feeling better bit by bit. This morning, my fever was down though still present, and I still had some aches. But at least I could bend my knees again without discomfort! Yesterday, bending and straightening them was a serious enterprise with a lot of ouching. I sat around and read a friend's ms., which I thoroughly enjoyed, then had a Zoom, and then felt good enough to cook dinner: chicken and mushrooms with white wine and herb gravy, artichokes, green beans, and mashed potatoes. Now I'm tired, but I'm sure I'll feel better yet tomorrow. It's almost a little scary to imagine going out into the world again! How will I know what to do next? I'll have to revise my entire way of thinking. I'm still looking forward to it.
It's a clear night, and the full moon rose like a round gold coin. What a beautiful thing! Most of the time, it's too cloudy to see it.
