It was cold, windy, and mostly cloudy today. I washed a load of sheets and a load of towels, and washed up a few items that needed hand washing or special treatment. One of the side benefits of the dry basement system is that I can hang things on the line down there and they actually dry quickly. I did some more work on the past. 2007 wasn't a terrible year. Here are a couple of interesting quotes from back then: "Wizards don't lose their power when they grow old. They only become more subtle." and "Power is the expression of thought in action. So everyone can have it." It is somewhat disturbing to look back and see so many things that I thought of back then that haven't been done yet. On the other hand, I did a lot of things that I didn't think I was going to have to do! So maybe it comes out even in the end. By suppertime, the sun had come out, and we went for a quick walk around the neighborhood. Then we finished off one batch of soup for dinner, and maybe I'll make another one tomorrow.

I did laundry this morning, including sheets, and my new pillows arrived in the mail! I have them airing out in the guest room, out of the way.
