I did a bunch of stuff today. Put away laundry, then made a quick trip to the grocery store for more Halloween candy. We went out for a walk when I got back, then had tea while I read more of Thuvia, Maid of Mars and chatted a bit with the Nonesuch about Barsoom. I sorted out the Halloween candy for the kids and grandkids so the Sparrowhawk could take it to the post office. Irish from next door came over to look at some cracks in our ceiling. He doesn't think they're a huge problem, but will send us a guy who might fix them. While the Sparrowhawk was showing him around, I started on dinner: pork chops browned with garlic, then cooked in the pan with some mandarin ginger sauce out of a bottle; baby potatoes, and salad. I ate mine as soon as it was done, and then practiced the violin. The Sparrowhawk had his when he got back from the post office. We had an evening Zoom. I had various thoughts, but now I'm too tired.
