Yesterday was Tron's birthday, always a happy occasion! She's like the gift at the end of my birthday week. We called her last night and left the birthday song on her voicemail. She was out visiting friends. We Facetimed today. The Sparrowhawk had a yearning for garlic kielbasa--finally back in stock again at the farm ladies' stand--and pasties, so he went off to the farmers market. I didn't go with him, only because I wanted a chance to clean up myself and the kitchen before talking to Tron. He came back with several kinds of pasties, a bag of brussels sprouts, and two kinds of fancy mushrooms. The pasty guy recognized him and appreciated him as a regular customer, which I guess is what we've become now! The farm lady knew someone who had omicron Covid and was sick for two weeks, so I guess the Sparrowhawk got off lucky. I devised a sub-plot involving Therns, and now it's poking out complications all over the place. Therns are nothing but trouble.
