I think the drugs have worn off, because I feel tired and cranky. I still have sort of a colander patch over my eye--it has holes in it, but I can't really see out of it very well. I'm cautiously optimistic, but I won't know how good my vision is going to be until tomorrow morning, when they check my eye and take the patch off. My glasses won't fit on my face with the patch, so I can't really see out of my other eye, either. It's taped to my face, which is super annoying. But if all goes well, I'll be unconscious most of the time between now and then! Everything is basically okay. More later when it's easier to type.
