Graduation of Bliss

Mission accomplished! Stage one, anyway. Yesterday we saw our grandson Angelbaby graduate from his early-college high school. The ceremony was held in the very nice auditorium that belongs to the community college. Most of the students had amassed many credits from community college while finishing high school. Afterwards we went out for a celebratory dinner at a sushi place that was a favorite with Angelbaby as a chubby-cheeked child. It has been a long time . . . . We stopped briefly at the Diva's house for gift-giving--a wok from the parents, for student cooking, and a useful check from us. Muffinhead and his very nice, bright, tall girlfriend came home from college for the weekend. The kids were very sweet to us yesterday and allowed us to bring them coffee and take them out for lunch, where they actually talked to us amiably, while their parents were at work. It was a good day for the grandparents. After the gifts, we were exhausted, and had to go back to the hotel to recuperate. Today: a visit to the Diva in her native environment--the pre-school!
