The predicted rain came across the lake this morning and lasted most of the day. It was pleasant to hear it falling on my garden, which has looked a little thirsty lately. We mostly stayed inside, and I have to admit I didn't get much done. But at least I'm feeling better. We made a cooperative effort and prepared some chicken stir-fry for dinner (mostly the Sparrowhawk, because he's the master of well-seasoned stir-fry, but I helped with the prep). Watching Rings of Power. It's an abomination if you think of it as Tolkien, but if you think of it as some different, random show that mysteriously shares a few names and whatnot, it's not completely unwatchable. Yet. Apparently the comb was never invented in this world.

I saw some of the first couple of episodes, and some of the actors were entertaining. I wasn't interested enough to pay full attention.
