ismoWeird liminal weather we're having. As predicted, the rain keeps coming and going. This morning I did laundry, put away laundry, cleaned the toilet, went grocery shopping, and put away groceries. When I went into the grocery store, there were big dark clouds rolling across the sky. When I came out, it was beginning to rain, and by the time I came home, there was pea-sized hail pelting me as I hustled inside with my grocery bags. By afternoon, the sun had come out. Now it's raining heavily again. Whee. We got a call from the Philosopher tonight, which is always nice. I added another 700 words--couldn't quite make it to 1000. I can never get quite enough done in any area. Tonight I am discouraged about that. Also, I bought a bargain bag of Halloween candy, and am disgusted to note that it contains a high proportion of white chocolate KitKat bars that taste very stupid. I've been tricked into handing out inferior candy. Bah.
