ismoWell . . . not having had a very good night, I tested myself again, and received a big fat pink line. I could tell anyway, because covid just has a unique kind of malevolence. It likes to hurt me. I had to text Madame and Mademoiselle and tell them they could have been exposed. I feel so bad about this. There's no way I could have known, but it upsets me. I will be okay with suffering if only they can escape, and the Sparrowhawk as well. My eyeballs are boiling, my hands and feet are like ice, and everything hurts. I started shivering and my temperature went down to 96 degrees, so I had to take a hot shower and put on a wool sweater and a sweatshirt and two blankets.
The only good thing about this is that my eyeballs hurt too much to really watch tv, so I once again attacked "Into the Narrowdark," the IMMENSE third volume of Tad Willisams' Last King of Osten Ard. It was supposed to be a trilogy. Hahaha, she laughed weakly. This book is 550 pp. long, and the print is not large. And yet, there is a fourth volume to come, but not until next year. Now I still have covid, but I don't have any more book, because he didn't publish it yet. Everyone in the book is still tortured, kidnapped, imprisoned, lost, and possibly dead until 2024. Oh, Mr. Williams. You have much to answer for. You gave me a few hours of solace, but now I am bereft again. Color me sad.
