I'm astonished--within 48 hours of posting, Tron's GoFundMe has reached its goal. It shows how many people care about her. I'm humbled and amazed. They're leaving it open for a little while because they still have people contacting them to say they want to help. And thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who shared or donated. It means so much.

I also wanted to say that everyone should have health care. You shouldn't have to prove it by showing how much potential you have, how good you are, or how many people love you. People with nothing fancy about them and no friends and no social media also need health care and deserve that dignity. But I'm just so grateful you cared about my precious child.

In other news, my cold morphed overnight into a bad sore throat and ripping cough. Today I canceled most things and sat around a lot. This was reinforced by the siding guys coming back and working around every corner of the house until late afternoon. I couldn't find a corner to relax or nap in. We think they are finished now, but we're really not quite sure! They might just come back! I hope not, because I just want to lurk around the house in peace.

Your cold sounds miserable. I hope it's not bronchitis! Can your doctor get you some Good Drugs?

Probably not, because it's probably just another stoopid virus. If it doesn't start to improve, maybe I'll go to Urgent Care and make sure it's not another round of strep.

I am very behind on my DW reading, so I only just now heard about the GoFundMe — but I've just donated. Because eff cancer.
