Oh, nothing much to report today either. And I'm not complaining, either, because when remarkable things happen, they often are not very pleasant. A nice thing that happened is that the fancy Advent calendar we ordered for Tron arrived at her house today, and she said it was so pretty. We were hoping to give her spirits a lift. It's full of miniature body-care items. I thought that when you're having cancer treatments, and perhaps your body is feeling uncomfortable, some scented lotions, washes, and whatnot in pretty packages would be refreshing. We've also been given a tentative time to come and visit. Can't wait!

I'm living on Ricola again, because my coughing fits happen unpredictably, although predictably at the worst of times, like when I'm in the middle of anything public, a conversation etc. Ughhhh . . . I have so been here before . . . . I didn't even get a lousy t-shirt. Both Queenie and a friend has advised me to use Vicks Vapo-rub. They like it and find it comfortable. I haaate it. Oh, what a nasty smell. They recommended I put it on my chest AND FEET and then wear a t-shirt and socks to bed. Jeez. So I could be tortured all night long. Sorry guys--I have tolerance for the barley tea, but squishy socks full of stinky vasoline are one torture that will absolutely not be added to my nightly routine.

I am not sure how putting stuff on your feet helps with a cough....
