Home again, but so disappointed. This has been a roller coaster, and still is. Ups and downs. We were so happy to be discharged from the hospital and to be taking Mother to a rehab to get better and receive skilled nursing care. SO DISAPPOINTED with the way she was treated when she arrived. I'm too tired and disgusted to go into detail right now. I'm not happy. The Duchess and I are hoping to see better behavior tomorrow and Monday. We've already looked into finding another place for her. This one is ranked as well or better than anything else we can find. We'll have to move forward as best we can. I'm drafting a letter of complaint to the administrators that the Sparrowhawk thinks might help. This seems to be a fight that never ends.

It IS a pity! It's also a pity that often the only way to get them to suck less is to be supportive and patient (although firm) with them, when I'd prefer to shake them till their teeth rattle.

i find that if i visualize what i'd like to do, while maintaining a calm and friendly external attitude, people tend to behave themselves. perhaps it's my winning smile (if you can see the gold teeth, it's already too late).
