The vaccination reaction is subsiding. I felt much better today. My arm is still sore, but the fever is gone. I'm still easily tired, but not completely unable to do anything, like yesterday. I changed the sheets on the bed and washed the used set, partially cleaned the refrigerator, cleaned and cut up four boxes of strawberries, and made some egg salad on toast for us to have for lunch. At that point I ran out of gas. I sat down and had a cup of tea and texted with a friend. I should have been working on this story, but I worked on it later. I've written much of it in longhand, so I'm now typing it up to see how many words there are, and editing a bit as I go. Then I have to add one more section that I skipped and complete the denouement, and then it will be ready to send off. I didn't go out for a walk, but after the big storm last night, it was hot, muggy, and misty, and I didn't really want to go out anyway. The Sparrowhawk's brother Fritz called and said he might be in the vicinity, and would it be okay for him to stop in. I panicked and thought "I can't have a visitor now! I have so much to do!" However, I quelled this thought because it's not worth it to pass up a visit from family just so you can do more chores. I mean, seriously. I told the Sparrowhawk we should tell him to come on over. However, when he called back he said he was too far north at the moment and wouldn't be able to get down this way today, so maybe some other time. Then I was glad I had chosen the path of hospitality. It's always nice when you get the credit for something without actually having to do it! It's always nice for the Sparrowhawk to see his brother, so I hope he will come over soon.
