Back home again after another lively day. I wish we could have stayed longer by the lake, but the Redhead needed to be home to work, and I was pleased enough to be home once we got there. We got some takeout breakfast. Raptor scorned the pancakes that had been ordered for him, but discovered a desire to share Grandmom's toast and bacon, plus more strawberries, so he got a pretty decent breakfast. At home, it was horribly hot--89 degrees. I know that's a mere nothing to some of you, but it's bad for people from Michigan. We put away all our stuff and I threw the towels and suits in the washing machine. Then I had a very exciting game of hide and seek with Raptor, and then he tried to teach Grandad to play his video game, with limited success. I talked with the kids and snapped the beans, and the Sparrowhawk grilled some more hamburgers and hot dogs, and we had dinner. I cleaned up the kitchen. At that point, I was about ready to sit down. We watched MST3000 with Raptor--it's his latest thing. He shared M&Ms with his father and grandfather. The Redhead did her Zoom class (she's getting a master's degree during quarantine). Then it was bedtime, and I got to read Raptor more Garfield in French. The Philosopher and his Lovely Friend are in town, but working too hard to come over today. They'll come and join in the madness tomorrow. I am so sleepy . . . .
