BranchAglow of Bluster
Mar. 28th, 2022 09:49 pmThe weather reverted to winter for a few days. Many green shoots have poked up above ground, but have wisely stalled out until spring gets underway again. I had a long chat with Queenie this morning. Then I tried to get some writing done, but didn't do much because I was distracted by the letter opting out of the task I don't want. Made a third effort to write it. Succeeded. Sent it. No reply yet. With that off my mind, maybe I'll be able to focus. I cooked some baked chicken and rice with peppers, and another batch of green beans. I also rescued the Sparrowhawk's laundry. It had been going around in the dryer for some time before he realized that it wasn't getting dry. The last time this happened, it was because the pilot light had gone out. He was about to go to the gym, so I sent him off and hung the wet clothes on the somewhat ad hoc clothesline and drying rack we have in the basement. It will be dry soon enough. Then I went for a quick walk just before the sun set. It was too late and too cold, but still pleasant to stretch my legs. I've had another run of days with too many activities that required sitting.
